A big thank you to all Radley Lakes Trust volunteers who were marshals at the 2022 Abingdon Marathon

Thank you very much to all those 19 people who were Marshals, at the Abingdon Marathon in October 2022, on behalf of the Radley Lakes Trust!

The great news is that thanks to your efforts as Radley Lakes Trust Marshals, the Abingdon Marathon committee has given a donation of £665 to the Radley Lakes Trust. In addition the Radley Lakes Trust has received £150 as a share for providing Marshals at the first “Water Station” beside Thrupp Lake, resulting in a total donation of £815.

We hoped you Marshals enjoyed supporting the Marathon in 2022. The Abingdon Marathon is the only Marathon held in Oxfordshire and it is one of the largest sporting events in Oxfordshire and can include up to 1,200 runners and 400 helpers/marshals. Overall the 2022 Abingdon Marathon donated £18,000 to local charities and good causes, including the Radley Lakes Trust.
