Sounding Path Flooding Update

25th February 2026

The Sounding Bridge path has begun to dry out.  There is no longer any standing water but it is very muddy and slippery.  Please continue to take care.

This page will not be updated unless flooding reoccurs.

A short section of the Sounding Bridge Path is currently flooded.  It is passable with determination and a pair of adult sized wellies.  However, much of the path alongside the railway track is very muddy and slippery.  Please take care walking along that section.

We will review the track weekly and update this post when the situation improves.
