Thrupp Green Scything Autumn 2026

On Saturday 10 October, 26 volunteers from Abingdon Green Gym, Barton Fields Green Team and the Scything Association cut the meadow beside the lake at Thrupp Green.  Half the group scythed and the rest raked and stacked.  They cleared about 70% of the meadow and hope to see lots of orchids next year.
